Despite myriad clear signs of homegrown peril to America and despite supreme power and supreme responsibility of all citizens to sound the alarm and fight that threat, and as testament to the success of the relatively few Americans who subvert our republic and take from and harm us and weaken our ability and will to stop them, no person or group of note has described or laid bare today's homeland-security, national-security PROBLEM that is vastly more dangerous than terrorism ---- America's democratic processes, representative governance, and the five categories of common well-being listed in the first sentence of our Constitution since 1787 (that is, all aspects of America's self-governance and public good) are under mounting assault by a stealthy homeland enemy built up since 1980: consolidated American wealth-and-power and their media machine, a right-wing enemy much like the consolidated-wealth-and-power enemy described at length in the central section of the document of dissent we celebrate every Fourth of July ---- and no person or group of note has outlined or championed the vital full SOLUTION ready and waiting in our Three Charters of Freedom.   How CivicPowerUSA.org began. On March-20-2003 our older daughter asked, "Dad, why are we bombing Iraq?" Our leaders and media were not being honest about reasons for the war. Our public trust was violating the public's trust. Their dishonesty about Iraq turned out to be just one tip of the iceberg of their vast and dangerous betrayal. The answer to our daughter's question grew into a big-picture, full-solution, democracy weapon/tool based on our Three Charters of Freedom that conservatives and liberals can deploy and wield to stop and prevent war on other nations -- and on America -- by American wealth-and-power. It explains the Iraq-war "why" our leaders and media conceal: "So America's small and tight group of wealth-and-power, the right wing, can take and hoard wealth and power from Iraq -- and more from America."

  A wellspring of potent civic power awaits to be tapped. The four-element solution to America's dangerous subversive problem, contained within CivicPowerUSA.org, comes from our primal urges for justice, ancient human wisdom, early American history, Declaration of Independence, US Constitution, and Bill of Rights. That is, the big-picture full solution comes from millions of people over the millennia and even from our DNA, not from this one concerned citizen.

  The documents above outline a surefire cure for a new strain of the ancient wealth-and-power disease that began to flare up inside America around 1980. The founders of our republic understood and feared the wealth-and-power disease, described the disease in our Declaration of Independence (it fills more than half of the charter, the entire central section), and wrote a Constitution and Bill of Rights full of inoculations against the disease. But today's new strain of the disease overpowered all those supreme-law internal defenses, and breached the homeland/national security of America's democratic processes and representative governance (our self-governance) and the homeland/national security of all five classes of common well-being (our Social-Contract benefits that We the People receive in return for the eternal vigilance/effort/taxes we put into our self-governance). Clear evidence of the breach: 9/11. Iraq. Saber rattling at Iran. Loss of democratic processes, loss of representative governance, thus loss of citizen supreme power. Loss of justice, loss of domestic tranquility needed for a united/cooperative state of America, loss of common defense of our self-governance and public good, loss of general welfare of many kinds, loss of liberty. Huge losses of citizen financial wealth, an average of $15k per taxpayer a year totalling $2 trillion a year. Large collateral losses of homeland lives to the disease, at the rate of many 9/11s a year. Failure of our press to fully and honestly report these alarming events. Willingness of our entire mass media, and many institutions, to feed and grow the disease. This virulent new home-grown strain of the wealth-and-power disease is far more dangerous to ourselves, and to our posterity, than the strain We the People forced into remission more than two centuries ago during American Revolution I.
